The PiS (Law and Justice) party may have won the parliamentary elections in Poland. However, according to the exit poll, the opposition of Donald Tusk from the Civic Platform is capable of creating a coalition.

The exit poll announced in Poland after 21:00 local time showed that PiS won the parliamentary elections with a result of 36.8%. (200 seats), second place was taken by the Civil Coalition, which gained 31.6% (163 seats).
The following places were taken: “Third Road” with 13% support (55 seats), “New Left” (“Left”) with 8.6% of the vote. voters (30 seats) and the Confederation with 6.2% support (12 seats).
Civic Platform, Third Way and New Left have only 248 seats. The absolute majority in parliament is 231 seats.
On October 15, the Poles elected 460 deputies and 100 senators. A national referendum was held in parallel with the elections. Polling stations were open from 7:00 to 21:00. 28,638,798 Poles had the right to vote, voting in 29,922 district electoral commissions in the country and 417 electoral commissions abroad.
According to the exit poll, turnout in the elections was 73%.
