The heads of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and Bulgaria signed a memorandum in Brussels expanding the scope of bilateral cooperation.
“Significant results from the meeting with my Bulgarian colleague Todor Tagarev. We signed a memorandum expanding the scope of bilateral cooperation, including cyber defense, strategic communication, obtaining military-technical support. The document also lays the foundation for future defense cooperation.” .
In addition, Bulgaria will help future Ukrainian F-16 pilots with English language courses.
“Grateful for the valuable support of Minister Tagarev and the entire Bulgarian people,” added the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
We remind you that the Bulgarian parliament recently voted for the supply of obsolete S-300 missiles to Ukraine.
It was also reported that Bulgaria will transfer about 150 thousand euros to Ukraine for humanitarian aid in connection with the difficult situation due to the Russian invasion.
