The battle has been going on for three days, a continuous fierce battle, persistent on their part. Practically the personnel did not rest during this entire period, there was no sleep, there was no opportunity to rest. The battle continues intensively, we are intensively destroying the enemy in all areas where our personnel are located,” Tsekhotsky indicated on the “Freedom Live” broadcast.
He pointed out that the defenders of Ukraine defending the Avdiivka direction had not yet had the opportunity to rest.
This attack can be equated to the first day of a full-scale Russian invasion, only on a separate section of the front, the officer believes.
In his opinion, the Russian occupation army prepared in advance for this battle.
The tactics of the Russian troops have changed somewhat: on October 10 they went on the attack en masse, now they are attacking in smaller and more mobile groups, Tsehotsky added.
At the same time, soldiers of the 59th Mechanized Infantry Brigade knocked out and neutralized four enemy infantry fighting vehicles, two T-72 tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, and also damaged two infantry fighting vehicles and two more tanks.
