According to the investigation, the rector of one of the churches of the Izyum diocese of the UOC actively supported the actions of the aggressor country.
At the end of July 2022, in the occupied town of Dvurechnaya, Kupyansky district, a public religious event took place on the occasion of the “Day of the Baptism of Rus’,” which was held by local representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
It was there that the archpriest of the Moscow Patriarchate blessed representatives from Russia and blessed the military vehicles of the invaders.
The abbot ordered his henchmen to film the “event” for subsequent publication on pro-Russian media resources.
After the liberation of the Kharkov region, the archpriest and his family fled to the territory of Russia, where he is the rector of one of the Russian churches.
