American intelligence has no information about the plans of Hamas militants, as does Israeli intelligence.

The United States has seen no signs of preparations for an attack on Israel by the Hamas group. This was announced by National Security Advisor to American President Jake Sullivan in a briefing on October 10.

“We have not seen anything to indicate that this type of attack was launched, and neither did the Israelis,” Sullivan said when asked if American intelligence had information about the attack.

He also added that he did not know why Israel did not get the attack.

“It’s clear that the Israeli government is focusing its intelligence capabilities on Hamas, on the West Bank, on Hezbollah. And why they weren’t warned about this is not a question I can answer from this podium,” the counselor stressed.

As reported Correspondent.netOn the morning of October 7, Hamas militants launched a massive rocket attack on Israel and entered its territory.

In response, the Israeli army announced the start of Operation Iron Swords and attacked the group’s targets in the Gaza Strip.
