The High Anti-Corruption Court granted the petition to remove Lysenko from the post of mayor of Sumy until December 9.

Lysenko does not admit his guilt and stated that he had nothing to do with the money, which was shown after his arrest.
I did not receive funds either during the search or during the arrest. I did not see this money, did not receive it, and was not near it. From the photo you might think that I was next to the car where the money was. But this is not true,” said the mayor of Sumy in a comment to Public.
