The leader of Chechnya awarded the President of the Russian Federation for his “very important contribution to the restoration of the republic.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin was presented with the highest award of the Chechen Republic – the Order named after Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov. The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced this on Telegram on October 9.
According to him, the decree that awarded this award to Putin was signed in 2007, but it was awarded only now.
Kadyrov said that “all this time there was no suitable occasion or reason” to give the highest award in Chechnya “to the person who made a very important contribution to its restoration and supported the people in the most difficult period of its history. “
The Chechen leader also expressed deep gratitude to the Russian president.
“This is just a small part of the gratitude that we can express on behalf of all the residents of the republic, who have been revived thanks to his efforts,” he said.
Before this, Putin awarded Kadyrov the Order of Alexander Nevsky.
Let’s recall that Kadyrov proposed to “temporarily” cancel the presidential election in Russia. He said this on October 7 at a rally in Grozny on the occasion of Putin’s birthday.
