The singer mentioned that in the film he wanted to show how the war affects the world’s meanings and values.
Ukrainian singer Tina Karol presented a mini-documentary film One Nation Under Love. It features behind-the-scenes footage from the star’s concerts during the full-scale Russian invasion. The video was published on YouTube.
“This concert is not about tears and despair. This concert is about life and respect, about faith, courage and character. This concert, of course, takes place during war. It’s hard because you don’t sleep at night, sirens, alarms. Everything is in “we are nervous, we are afraid to do something when there is a threat of attack. At the same time, you can see how life goes on and people bravely hold on tight,” added Karol.
The film shows footage from a concert hall in Chernigov, which was destroyed in a Russian missile attack two days after the concert.
“It was a very difficult night with sirens… We opened the news feed, we saw a missile strike in Chernigov… The city center, where we ended up. And I walked to the theater, because I like to walk to the venues on foot before a performance, I like to look at the city, to be inspired… The other day I was watching how people were taking pictures in the park, and in this park a rocket flew,” added the performer.
Let’s remember that Tina Karol’s song One Nation Under Love was nominated for the prestigious Grammy Award.
