DBR employees are conducting an investigation into the beating of a man on the premises of the Chernivtsi regional territorial center for recruitment and social support.
The video of the incident on October 9 was distributed by telegram channels, but the events took place on July 30, 2022. The next day, the National Police opened criminal proceedings and began a pre-trial investigation. In August 2023, the case was transferred to the State Bureau of Investigation.
As part of the investigation of criminal proceedings, the actions of employees of the recruitment center and law enforcement officers in the use of force by a citizen are being studied. The victim then received minor injuries.
Currently, the identities of all the defendants present in the video have been established.
The investigation continues, the issue of reporting suspicion of causing intentional minor bodily harm, abuse of power by a military official committed under martial law, kidnapping of a person accompanied by causing him physical suffering is being resolved.
