The so-called Russian military correspondents claim that the invaders have intensified mine work on the Robotino-Verbovoye line. They say that in recent days, intensive Russian mining and demining efforts have disrupted the movement of heavy Ukrainian cargo and equipment in these areas. This is stated in a new report from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
According to analysts, the invaders’ units also intensified tactical offensive operations on several sectors of the front outside the Zaporozhye region. Thus, the Russians want to stretch Ukraine’s defenses and divide the efforts of the Defense Forces.
ISW also cites the press secretary of the Tauride Group of Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Alexander Shtupun, who said that the enemy is trying to fix the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions and prevent them from transferring reserves to the Zaporozhye direction.
In addition, it is noted that military operations at the front have begun to affect worsening weather conditions.
Let us recall that earlier the American Institute for the Study of War stated that the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced near Andreevka in the Donetsk region and Robotinoy and Verbovoy in the Zaporozhye region.
