The Turkish diplomatic service said it was actively maintaining contacts with interested parties.
Turkey’s Foreign Ministry condemned the armed attack on Israel and said it would help end the war with Israel. This was stated in a statement by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday, October 7.
“We attach great importance to the speedy restoration of peace in the region and strongly condemn the civilian casualties. Noting that acts of violence and related escalation will not benefit anyone, we call on the parties to act exercise restraint and refrain from rash steps,” the Foreign Ministry noted.
Diplomats have expressed their willingness to mediate between the conflicting parties.
“We are always ready to make our contribution as Turkey, ensuring that these events can be controlled without further escalation and spread to a wider area. In this direction, we actively maintain contacts with interested parties ,” said the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
Türkiye proposed to solve the issue of creating two states.
“We invite the parties, by rejecting the use of force, in accordance with this vision, to work towards a lasting solution without further delay,” the statement said.
We remind you that on October 7, Hamas militants attacked Israel. After a large-scale rocket attack, they stormed Israeli cities and began killing civilians in the streets. We also know about dead military personnel. But there is no exact data on the number of victims.
In this regard, the Israel Defense Forces launched the anti-terrorist operation “Iron Swords against Hamas.”
