At the state level, the procedure for manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles has been simplified, the prime minister indicated.
The production of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in Ukraine has increased a hundredfold over the years. Prime Minister Denis Shmygal announced this on Saturday, October 7, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
According to him, during this period more than 200 companies started developing drones.
“The path of a drone from its development to its purchase is as short as possible. Over the year, drone production has increased 100 times. More than 200 Ukrainian companies have started developing drones , “says Shmygal.
He pointed out that the growth in drone production is due to the maximum simplification of bureaucratic procedures.
“We have simplified the bureaucratic procedures for the defense procurement of Ukrainian drones. The path of the drone from its development to its purchase is as short as possible,” said the head of government.
He also emphasized that next year the Ukrainian military-industrial complex will have more resources, the costs for defense production in Ukraine will increase seven times, that is, to UAH 55.8 billion.
It was previously reported that the Drone Army hit 136 tanks and 270 Russian guns in one month.
It was also reported that the Turkish company Baykar, which produces the Bayraktar TB2 combat drone, will invest $100 million in three projects in Ukraine. The construction of the drone production plant will be completed in a year and a half.
As you know, in Ukraine three state defense factories have already started production of FPV drones.
