This was reported by the Baza telegram channel close to the Kremlin.
The channel claims that the police refusal is due to the fact that Adam Kadyrov is 15 years old, that is, he has not reached the age of criminal responsibility.
The police check became known a few hours earlier. At the same time, the channel writes that the check began on August 18.
Nikita Zhuravel was detained in May 2023 on charges of insulting the feelings of believers. The investigation believes that he allegedly, on instructions from the Ukrainian special services, burned the Koran in front of the Cathedral Mosque in Volgograd, after which he handed over a video recording of his actions to an SBU officer.
Zhuravel was arrested on May 22, and five days later he was taken to a pre-trial detention center in Grozny. In mid-August, Zhuravel reported that he was beaten in a pre-trial detention center by the 15-year-old son of the chairman of Chechnya, Adam Kadyrov.
In the second half of September, Ramzan Kadyrov published a video of his son beating Zhuravel. In a commentary to the video, the head of Chechnya said that he was proud of Adam’s action. A few days later, Kadyrov was at a reception with Putin. Russian officials and security forces have not commented on the video.
