Updated data on the death of Ukrainians in a large-scale road accident in Venice has appeared. The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko gave new information in a commentary to the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
“The Italian side has completed the identification of the victims of the accident near Venice. According to the updated information, four Ukrainians died and four were injured. The injured citizens are receiving medical care in Mestre hospitals , Treviso and Padua. There is no threat to their lives,” said Nikolenko.
It is reported that Ukrainian consuls are providing assistance to Ukrainians, monitoring treatment and contacting their relatives.

Earlier, Italian media reported that among the victims there were citizens of Ukraine; at first there were about five dead and three wounded Ukrainians.
