This was announced on the morning of October 3 by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitaly Kim.
The invaders launched Shahed missiles from Cape Chauda and an Iskander-K missile from the Dzhankoy area in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The air force shot down a cruise missile and 29 enemy drones.
Air defense operated in the southern and eastern regions: anti-aircraft missile forces, fighter aircraft, and units of mobile fire groups. The targets were destroyed in the areas of responsibility of the air commands “South” and “East” within the Nikolaev and Dnepropetrovsk regions, the PS said in a statement.
At the same time, Kim added that 16 enemy kamikaze drones were shot down over the Nikolaev region.
