As a result, the production process of X-59 missiles of various modifications was disrupted. This was reported on the website of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to confirmed data, three of the four drones hit the target, causing significant damage to the production facilities of the military enterprise of the aggressor state, the report says.
It is noted that the Kh-59 (in the modification Kh-59MK2) is one of the types of air-to-surface missiles with which commanders most often fire at military and civilian targets in Ukraine. The missile range is up to 280 km.
The Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions suffer the most from the use of such weapons, the GUR notes.
