Border guards allow citizens to pass even without passports, especially young people who want to study in Ukraine.
Almost 10 thousand people returned from Russia to Ukraine through the Kolotilovka-Pokrovka humanitarian corridor in the Sumy region. Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk announced this in a briefing.
“Since August 5, when the corridor became operational, almost 10 thousand people entered Ukraine, including almost 2.5 thousand children,” said Vereshchuk.
He also emphasized that border guards allow citizens to pass even without passports, especially young people who want to study in Ukraine.
“People came to study. We allowed people from Crimea, from temporarily occupied territories, even without documents, to remotely enroll in educational institutions. They will come here and in in three months the documents will be completed, because we want our young people to return,” he emphasized Vereshchuk.
We remind you that Ukraine has opened a humanitarian corridor from the territory of Russia.
Earlier, Vereshchuk reported that every day 170-200 people cross from the Russian Federation to Ukraine through the Kolotilovka-Pokrovka humanitarian corridor on the border of Belgorod and Sumy regions.
