Activists could hide in basements in the Genichesk territory, Novoalekseevka, in the building of the Kherson administration.
In the Kherson region, the Russian occupiers took more than a hundred activists, journalists and other media representatives. They are put in the basements and tortured. This was announced on Monday, June 6, by Tamila Tasheva, permanent representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, on the air of an information telethon.
“Mainly we are trying to monitor the Kherson region, because it is located on the administrative border of Crimea, due to the fact that our mandate still extends to the Crimea and Sevastopol. But we are monitoring the Kherson region. According to our information, more than a hundred people are in the basement premises in the territory of Genichesk and Novoalekseevka, in various sanatorium institutions, in the Kherson administration itself and in the colony. This is a relatively large number of people, “said Tasheva.
The president’s permanent representative in Crimea noted that the invaders were not only keeping captives in basements in the Kherson region, but forcibly taking them to the occupied territories.
“It is very important to say that the occupiers took our citizens, activists, journalists from the territory of the Kherson region to the territory of the Crimea, in particular, in Simferopol and Sevastopol. Then they used torture and inhumane treatment against them. , ”Tasheva said.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian occupiers were afraid of resistance, which was growing among the local populations of the Kherson region.
