General and former commander of US Army Europe Ben Hodges criticized all those dissatisfied with the Ukrainian counter-offensive, saying that the US, UK or Germany would not have even gone on the offensive without air support. According to him, such accusations are unprofessional and useless.

Hodges, speaking to Voice of America, emphasized that the counteroffensive in Ukraine is not only military action on the battlefield, but also complex operations, including special forces, drone attacks, cyber warfare and the deactivation of Russian radar/air defense systems.
The general is also amazed at the work of the Ukrainian military from the Black Sea Fleet, which puts significant pressure on the Russian General Staff.
Earlier in an interview with Voice of America, Hodges also said that in the absence of air support, criticism of the Ukrainian counteroffensive is unjustified.
Unfortunately, Ukrainians will continue to suffer great losses because we, the West, have not provided them with the necessary opportunities. And I’m talking specifically about long-range precision weapons,” Hodges said.
