Social networks wrote that the blast wave was felt 30 km from the epicenter. Residents of Tashkent reported a heavy fire and broken windows in houses located near the airport.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan states that the fire occurred in the Sergeli district of the capital. Rescuers said the warehouses caught fire after being struck by lightning.
It is reported that no information has yet been received on cases of injuries or deaths of citizens as a result of the fire.
