The Prime Minister of Romania, together with several ministers, will visit Kyiv in October, where he will hold a joint meeting with Ukrainian officials.

Ukraine and Romania will hold a joint government meeting. This is what Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said, Digi24 reports.

He announced a “ministerial” visit to Ukraine. During the trip, a joint meeting with colleagues in Ukraine is planned.

“Next month I will have a joint meeting with Ukraine, and I will go to Kyiv with some ministers to close as many areas of cooperation that we have in Ukraine as possible,” he said.

Also, according to Ciolaku, Ukraine promised to abandon the use of the “Moldovan language” concept. As the prime minister noted, Romania and Ukraine are discussing the issue of importing Ukrainian grain and other agricultural products.

“We are having an honest conversation with the Prime Minister of Ukraine, and we have found the best solution so that farmers are not affected and so that Ukraine can deliver its grain,” Ciolaku added.

Earlier, Ciolacu explained why Romania did not ban the import of Ukrainian grain.
