Umerov said Ukraine needs more game-changing weapons, including multi-role fighters.

If Russia attacks Ukrainian energy infrastructure, it will receive a response. This was said by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov to CNN.

He noted that in the winter Russia will focus on the remarkable energy infrastructure of Ukraine.

“But we will answer,” said Umerov.

He added that he hopes for the rapid arrival of multi-role fighters in Ukraine, which will help the Ukrainian Armed Forces achieve progress in the counter-offensive.

“We need more weapons that will change the game. Hopefully, multi-role fighters will come soon and we will progress. We need these weapons to regain territory and gain an advantage on the battlefield, ” said Umerov.

It was previously reported that Umerov had his first conversation with the head of the Pentagon. The topic of conversation was US aid to Ukraine.
