The head of state signed a decree appointing a famous Ukrainian football player to the position of freelance adviser.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky appointed famous Ukrainian football player Andriy Shevchenko as his freelance adviser. This was confirmed by the corresponding order of the head of state, which was announced on Tuesday, September 26.
“To appoint Andrey Nikolaevich Shevchenko as an adviser to the President of Ukraine (outside the state),” the document said.
Andriy Shevchenko is one of the most famous football players in the history of Ukraine, once a player for European clubs such as Milan and Chelsea.
The footballer has been the top scorer of the Italian championship many times, won the Champions Cup and the European Super Cup. Shevchenko is also a Ballon d’Or winner.
In 2006, he became the UEFA Best Forward.
