The head of the press center of the Southern Defense Forces, Natalya Gumenyuk, stated this on air at the national telethon, the RBC-Ukraine agency reports.
Unfortunately, in the Kherson direction, this is directly in the front-line territories, the enemy is activating air attacks. Since we knock out artillery forces from the left bank with counter-batteries, they more often switch to air attacks, using aircraft and drones, not only strike ones,” Gumenyuk noted.
Gumenyuk notes that in addition to shock weapons, Russian fighters also use FPV drones and drones that can carry fragmentation ammunition. The occupiers drop shells, in particular, into the following crowded places:
- where humanitarian aid is provided;
- where humanitarian headquarters gather;
- when people just go home from work.
