Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak said the Polish Army will be the strongest land force in Europe. He said this on Saturday, September 23, during the swearing-in ceremony of the 16th Mechanized Division, Polish Radio reports.
On Saturday, around 850 members of the Polish Armed Forces were sworn in. This is the largest group of the 4,400 soldiers who took the oath or will take the oath of office this weekend.
According to Blaszczak, the Polish army will be the strongest land army in Europe. The army may number 300 thousand soldiers.
He emphasized that it is important to stop the aggressor so that Russia does not dare to enter Poland.
In the past, Blaszczak said that the Polish army could become the largest in Europe.
Also, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that Poland is not currently transferring weapons to Ukraine, as it is carrying out large-scale armament and modernization of its army.
