The peninsula’s occupation administration set local emergency officials the task of “evacuating not only the population, but also cultural values.”
The invaders plan to take cultural values from the museums of Sevastopol from Crimea to the territory of the Russian Federation. They are planning to steal them under the guise of “evacuating the population,” Radio Liberty reported on Saturday, September 23.
It was noted that the occupation administration of the peninsula has set such a task for local emergency workers.
On the website of the so-called “Ministry of Emergency Situations” they posted reminders for rescuers that one of their tasks is “the evacuation of not only the population, but also cultural values.”
“The third, most important task of civil defense is the evacuation of the population, material and cultural assets to safe places,” the publication quoted a message on the website.
According to the Crimean emergency officials, the task is to “plan, prepare and carry out evacuation, prepare safe places for the population to live, as well as to create and organize the activities of the evacuation authorities.”
Let’s recall that on September 22, the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was attacked in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, at least nine members of the Russian headquarters were killed and 16 wounded. Among the latter were Russian generals.
