A Russian Il-76 plane crashed in the Gao region of Mali. It was probably used by the Wagnerites.

An Il-76 military transport plane crashed in Mali, which, according to Russian Telegram channels, may belong to the private military company Wagner.

Local sources reported the crash of an Il-76 transport aircraft in Gao. The causes of the accident were not mentioned.

The IL-76 is designed for the transportation of equipment and cargo for various purposes. Depending on the modification, the aircraft can transport cargo weighing up to 60 tons at a distance of more than 4.2 thousand kilometers.

Let’s remember that a day before the information came out that the “Wagnerites” allegedly arrived in the combat zone in the Kherson region. The Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that the Russians were deliberately spreading rumors about Wagner PMC mercenaries in the Kherson region to prevent their deserters.
