Fedorov stated this in an interview with Forbes.
Now we are working on 5G, we are negotiating with one company. I hope there will be a pilot launch next year,” the minister said.
Fedorov said that during a full-scale war, a lot of 4G equipment was moved to strengthen certain regions.
Let us remember that 5G is the fifth generation of mobile networks or the fifth generation of wireless systems. Currently, the mobile network speed reaches 21 Mb/sec. At the same time, 5G promises speeds of 1 Gb/sec. Thus, many users may no longer need to use the home Internet.
72 countries around the world are actively using 5G, and 137 countries are still testing the network.
