On the territory of Romania, not far from the border with Ukraine, the body of a fugitive Ukrainian was found. A tourist came across him while making his way through the mountains.

This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
It has been previously established that the deceased was a resident of Zaporozhye, born in 1988. He was found in the hard-to-reach mountains opposite the Shibeny border service department (Ivano-Frankivsk region).
According to external signs, the body, or rather a skeleton in warm clothes, had lain there for a long time.
The State National Security Service noted that since the beginning of a full-scale war, this is the 24th recorded case in which a Ukrainian man of military age died on the border of Ukraine with the countries of the European Union. The previous 23 were discovered on the border with Romania and Hungary in Transcarpathia, of which 19 were found near the Tisza River.
Usually they tried to illegally enter countries where there was no war and, ironically, died during such a journey.
