Digital Cover of Máxima, Lia Clark spoke about the importance of making dreams come true by being who you really are
Lia Clark It is a symbol of representation. With a unique shine in her eyes, the Drag Queen is on the digital cover of Maximum in September and talks about making dreams come true.
In an exclusive interview, the singer opened her heart about being invited to perform at a music festival in São Paulo.
“I wanted to bring everything from my career to celebrate this moment”, told the star about her performance.
Lia said that her heart always dreamed of this moment. “I always had the dream of doing a complete show, with ballet, band, outfit and everything. It was a dream come true.”he spoke.
To reach this moment, the artist needed courage. The star broke through all prejudices and showed the importance of being who you really are.
“The art of Drag came into my life in a way that I didn’t imagine I would like. I was always very repressed by society, I was always hiding it. When the art of Drag appeared to me, I thought: ‘Now, I can feel free. ‘”he said.
Lia became an inspiration for a number of people to accept themselves. The singer said that she was also inspired by other drag queens to be who she is.
“In my time, there were Drag Queens, but they struggled a lot to go out and appear in front of large audiences. When they appeared, people made fun of them.”, she said.
The singer opened up about inspiring other people. “Now, we have a new group of people who sing and we are managing to occupy many places. I am very happy to understand that a new generation can come with much more belief in themselves because of us. I look forward to seeing the next one generation. May many Lias Clarks come”, he spoke.
