The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Wednesday morning on Telegram.

In total, 24 drone launches were recorded from the south-eastern and northern directions. The air defense forces demilitarized 17 Shaheds.

The drones were shot down along the route within the Sumy, Poltava, Kirovograd and Dnepropetrovsk regions. Anti-aircraft missile forces, fighter aircraft, units of mobile fire groups and other means of destruction were used to repel the attack.

Let us remind you that at night the Air Force warned about the threat of drone strikes and the launches of several groups of “Shaheds”. Later, an air raid alert was announced in a number of areas, and air defense was operating in some areas. In the Poltava region, an enemy drone hit the Kremenchug oil refinery. A fire broke out there and the plant’s operations were temporarily stopped.
