The newly appointed speaker of the nuclear energy complex in 2013 took part in a rally against the visit of a representative of the European Union to Nikolaev. Then he stated that “the European path of development is the path to the destruction of Ukraine’s independence.”
This was reported by Ukrayinska Pravda with reference to the press service of the South Ukrainian Energy Complex, Nikquesta, and the Nikolaev website.
A new head, Yaroslav Malenchenko, has been appointed to the position of head of the information and public relations department of the PAES. He has over 20 years of experience in management and communications, including working in central government, public and private companies. In his new role, Yaroslav Malenchenko will be responsible for ensuring effective communication between the FNPP and the public, promoting a positive image of the plant and increasing the level of confidence in nuclear energy,” says the press service of the South Ukrainian Energy Complex.
“Ukrainian Pravda” notes that, judging by media publications, in 2013 Malenchenko became the coordinator and official representative of the “Ukrainian Choice” movement in the Mykolaiv region.
Let us remember that “Ukrainian Choice” is a pro-Russian organization, which was founded in 2012 by a pro-Kremlin politician, Putin’s godfather Medvedchuk. The leaders of this civil society organization were later charged with suspicion for their participation in organizing an illegitimate “referendum” in Crimea.
