Germany spoke about a new aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The German Ministry of Defense on Tuesday, September 19, announced the details of a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth 400 million euros.

“Support will be provided where it is most needed,” the press service of the German Defense Ministry said in a statement.

The emphasis in the relief package is on ammunition. Germany will transfer to Ukraine 30 thousand shells of 155 mm caliber, about 3800 smoke shells for 155 mm artillery, 105 thousand rounds of 120 mm tank shells, as well as 480 AT-2 shells for multiple launching rocket systems .

In addition, the package includes 200 MRAP armored fighting vehicles, which will allow sappers to safely approach Russian mines, winter clothing, spare parts for donated weapons and vehicles.

The message about military assistance to Ukraine also mentions 50 surface drones, which “will help repel the aggressor not only on land, but also at sea.”

It was noted that some funds will be transferred through donations from Bundeswehr warehouses, as well as with industrial partners. The promised equipment should be transferred to Ukraine as soon as possible.

We remind you that the previous day, a new military aid package for Ukraine in the amount of 400 million euros was announced by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius.

According to the German Defense Ministry, the country ranks first in Europe and second in the world after the United States in terms of aid to Ukraine, which is worth about 8 billion euros.
