The military urged to ignore air raid warnings and monitor future messages.
In Russia, up to seven Tu-95 strategic bombers, capable of launching cruise missiles, took off from the Olenya military airfield. This was stated on Monday, September 18, in a statement of the press service of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“Up to seven Tu-95ms have been confirmed to take off from Olenegorsk. A cruise missile launch is possible,” PS warned.
The military was urged to monitor messages and not ignore air raid signals.
Around 1 am, the monitoring public reported the flight of three more enemy Tu-95ms aircraft from Engels airfield in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation.
Monitoring channels reported that the estimated release of the launch lines in the Caspian Sea was at 02.30-03.00. During the launch, the missiles will reach the Ukrainian border at 03.30-04.00.
Let’s remember that Canada’s Minister of National Defense Bill Blair announced a donation of 33 million Canadian dollars. Canada’s contribution will be used to purchase for Ukraine “hundreds of short- and medium-range anti-aircraft missiles and related systems necessary to protect Ukraine’s critical national infrastructure.”
The previous day, units of the SBU and the Ukrainian Navy conducted a unique special operation near Yevpatoria, as a result of which the Russian Triumph air defense system worth $1.2 billion was destroyed. Later, the Department of Strategic Communications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the successful attack of the Russian air defense complex. Confirming satellite images also appeared online.
