The defenders of Ukraine are gradually liberating the territories occupied by Russia in the south and east of our country.
The counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces “did not fail”, but was consistent. The head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, said this on Sunday, September 17, in an interview with CNN.
“They didn’t fail. There were comments that somehow this offensive failed, but it didn’t,” Milley said.
He emphasized that there were some successes and “Ukraine has great combat power.”
However, Milley said the counteroffensive is progressing more slowly than expected.
The defense forces liberated the village of Klishchievka in the Bakhmut direction of the Donetsk region.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, assured that time will not stop the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to him, the Ukrainian counter-offensive will continue after the onset of cold and wet weather, although the cold makes it difficult to conduct military operations.
