The offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions.

In the Donetsk region, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 13 enemy attacks in the Klishchievka area. The Russians unsuccessfully tried to break through the Ukrainian defenses in the Kurdyumovka and Andreevka areas. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces not only repelled the attacks, but also had success in the Klishchievka area, where they pushed the enemy back from their positions. This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
And in the Marinka area on Saturday, the Russians made 11 unsuccessful attempts to oust Ukrainian units from their positions. And the enemy’s attacks in the areas of Severny, Rovnopolye, Donetsk region and Novodarivka, Zaporozhye region ended with the enemy suffering losses in equipment and personnel.
At the same time, in the Avdeevsky, Maryinsky and Shakhtarsky directions, the Defense Forces maintain the initiative, put pressure on the enemy, carry out assault operations and recapture occupied territories.
The offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces continues in the Melitopol direction, the defenders inflict significant losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, forcing the enemy to retreat from their positions.
During September 16, Air Force aviation carried out two strikes on control points, 12 on areas where weapons and military equipment personnel were concentrated, and five on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
And the missile forces hit three Russian Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile systems and five enemy artillery weapons.
Let us remind you that on September 15, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the liberation of the village of Andreevka, Donetsk region, located south of Klishchievka. During the battles for this village, fighters of the Third Assault Brigade completely defeated the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Russian army.
