An explosion and fire occurred on the territory of the Oryol oil depot, where, according to preliminary information, tanks with fuel caught fire. The reservoir of the Orelnefteprodukt company on Seminarskaya Street in the Zheleznodorozhny district previously caught fire. This happened as a result of a drone strike. Governor of the Oryol region of Russia Andrei Klichkov wrote about this on Telegram.
According to him, the situation at the oil depot “is under complete control.” Traditionally, according to Russian authorities, “no one was hurt.”
Meanwhile, a video of a powerful explosion in Orel appeared online.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported that on the night of September 17, six drones attacked occupied Crimea and two attacked Moscow. All these UAVs, according to information from the enemy department, were allegedly shot down by air defense.
