Major alarm in Ukraine due to missile threat

Monitoring groups report that there is preliminary information about a missile launch from several TU-95ms aircraft from the Volgograd region.

On the night of Sunday, September 17, an air raid alert was declared in most of Ukraine due to the launch of missiles on Russian territory.

“The eastern and southeastern regions are a missile hazard,” reported the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Subsequently, the alarm began to spread rapidly in the central and western regions and covered most of Ukraine, including Kyiv.

Prior to this, monitoring groups reported that there was preliminary information about a missile launch from some TU-95ms aircraft from Volgograd.

It is noted that if the information is confirmed, missiles are expected in the Ukrainian airspace at 05:10 – 06:00.

Earlier, the Air Force warned about the departure of the enemy Tu-95 from the Olenya airfield.

Let’s recall that Russia has announced that it has developed new Kh-BD cruise missiles and they are armed with supersonic strategic missile-carrying bombers Tu-160.
