In the Oryol region of the Russian Federation, on Sunday night, September 17, an oil depot caught fire after a drone attack. This was reported by RosSMI in connection with the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The attack has traditionally been blamed on Ukraine.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to attack the Oryol region. According to the available information, an oil depot was damaged as a result of the drone crash,” the message said.
Social networks published footage of a spectacular fire and reported that, according to preliminary data, a tank with flammable liquid was on fire.
Earlier, Moscow and Crimea announced the destruction of the UAV.
