NATO spokesman Rob Bauer emphasized that Russia is suffering losses from the consequences of economic sanctions and diplomatic isolation.
Sanctions have an impact on Russia. In particular, the aggressor country is forced to seek help from “unreliable partners” for the war against Ukraine. This was said by the head of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, at the opening of the annual NATO conference at the level of defense chiefs.
He noted that the Russian Federation is now losing a large amount of territories acquired in Ukraine. At the same time, Russia is suffering losses from the consequences of economic sanctions and diplomatic isolation.
“Russia is forced to cooperate with unreliable players and becomes more dependent,” he said.
The NATO spokesman did not name the “players.” However, they probably also meant the leader of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, with whom the Kremlin leader, Vladimir Putin, recently met.
Let’s recall that on Wednesday, September 13, Putin met with Kim Jong-in at the cosmodrome Oriental in the Amur region. According to media reports, the leaders of the two countries will negotiate the transfer of North Korean shells.
Let’s add that Kim Jong-un said that his visit to Russia has “strategic” importance.
