Ukraine will produce more drones, so there will be more strikes. In 2023, UAV production in Ukraine increased more than 100 times compared to 2022, the minister says. And by the end of 2023, the growth will be approximately 120-140 times. Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov stated this in an interview with Reuters.
There will be more drones, there will be more attacks, there will be fewer Russian ships. That’s for sure,” he noted.
According to the Minister, Ukraine is testing artificial intelligence systems for target recognition by drones. That is why Ukrainian specialists need artificial intelligence, for example, a target search system similar to the one that works in the Russian Lancet loitering munitions. This will make it possible to find and destroy a target, despite electronic warfare.
Let us remind you that the Russian fleet already regularly suffers from attacks by the Ukrainian defense forces, intelligence and special services. Thus, on September 14, surface drones attacked two Russian Project 22160 Vasily Bykov-class patrol ships in the southwestern part of the Black Sea. On the same day, a surface drone hit the Russian missile ship Samum near the entrance to Sevastopol Bay.
