Thus the head of state noted that the Ukrainian defenders are gradually liberating Ukrainian cities from the occupiers, in the north of Kyiv, in the direction of Chernihiv and in the Sumy region, the expulsion of enemy troops continues. .
At the same time, the president said that the situation in the southern direction and in the zone of Joint Forces Operation remains very difficult – in Donbass, in Mariupol, in the direction of Kharkiv, Russian troops are accumulating potential for strong strikes. .
Zelensky also spoke about the success in negotiations with European Council leader Charles Michel and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and about the appeal to the parliaments of Australia, the Netherlands and Belgium with a request to strengthen sanctions against Russia.
As reported, the Russian army will soon launch airstrikes in Kiev, Chernigov, Izyum and Donbass. About 300 flights are planned.
