Companies or organizations with sanctions will no longer receive advanced technology in the US.
In the coming days, the U.S. Department of Commerce will introduce restrictions against 120 Russian and Belarusian companies due to the war unleashed by Russia and Belarus in Ukraine. On Thursday, March 31, CNN writes with reference to the department.
The Ministry of Commerce will take further action to reduce the capabilities of Russia’s defense, aerospace and maritime sectors by adding 120 entities in Russia and Belarus to the list of sanctions.
Thus, as indicated, the aforementioned list will expand to 200 positions.
The channel states that the imposition of sanctions means that these companies or organizations will no longer be able to acquire advanced U.S. technology without a license, a request which in most, if not all cases, will be denied.
Remember, on the eve of the US Treasury introduced new sanctions against Russia. Thus, 13 individuals and 21 organizations associated with Russia’s military-industrial complex fell under the restrictions.
