A controlled release of related gases in the region coincided with an air raid alert, the governor said.
On the territory of the Lviv region on the night of Thursday, March 31, a nearby gas was released, which netizens took as an explosion due to enemy attacks. This was announced by the head of the region Maxim Kozitsky.
“In one of the communities of the region, workers at a gas production tower made a controlled release of adjacent gases. During the release, a sound was heard similar to an explosion. There was also a slight fire. The events this is in conjunction with an air raid alert, ”Kozitsky explained.
He stressed that there were no threats from the wind in the region, the situation was under control, and they had preventive talks with the tower workers.
Recall that earlier on social networks there was information about the explosions in the Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions. A video of an “explosion” in the Lviv region was also made public.
