The United States has imposed sanctions against 35 Russians and companies associated with Russia’s defense industry

The list of sanctions includes individuals and companies associated with the Russian military-industrial complex.

The U.S. Treasury has again extended sanctions against Russia. Thus, 13 individuals and 21 organizations associated with Russia’s military-industrial complex were added to the list of sanctions. This was reported on the US Treasury website.

For example, the following are restricted:

  • Sernia Engineering,

  • Sertal,

  • Radio Engineering Research Institute Vector, which helped develop the Liana reconnaissance radar system,

  • JSC Mikron, the largest manufacturer of microcircuits in the Russian Federation,

  • developer of T-Platform supercomputers,

  • Research Institute of Molecular Electronics and others.

At the same time, OZON Bank is not included in the list of penalties.

Britain imposes sanctions “for Putin’s propaganda”

It was also reported that Australia introduces a 35% duty on all imports from Russia and Belarus.
The decision will take effect on April 25, 2022 and will be applied in addition to the general duty rates currently in effect.
