Russia’s occupation forces plan to leave the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and the city of Slavutych. This was announced on Thursday, March 31, according to the State Service for Special Communications.
“The information confirmed that the occupiers, who occupied the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and other facilities in the Exclusion Zone, flew in two columns towards the Ukrainian border with the Republic of Belarus,” SE NNEGC Energoatom reports in page.
The State Service for Special Communications also added that the Russian military had announced its intentions to the station’s Ukrainian personnel.
It was noted that the Russian military has built fortifications in the Red Forest, which is the most polluted area in the entire exclusion zone. Thus, the invaders received large doses of radiation and a riot started with them.
In addition, there is information that now a pillar of Russia has been formed in the direction of Belarus, which keeps the city of Slavutych under siege.
Later, Energoatom published the “Act of Acceptance and Transfer of Protection of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant”.
The document states that “there are no claims from the administration of the protected facility in relation to the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation.”
