On the morning of September 13, eleven thousand Hasidic pilgrims had arrived in Uman for the holiday of Rosh Hashanah.
Russian propagandists are spreading information about an alleged planned terrorist attack in Uman. According to them, Ukraine is preparing it. The spread of fake news was reported on Wednesday, September 13, by the Center for Combating Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
According to the Center, Russian public pages are spreading information that the “Kiev regime” is allegedly planning to carry out a terrorist attack in Uman, where thousands of Hasidic pilgrims will gather on September 15 to celebrate the Rosh Hashanah.
According to propagandists, after the terrorist attack, the Ukrainian side seems to be planning to blame Russia.
“By spreading such fakes, the enemy is trying to create an informational alibi for future terrorist attacks on the territory of Ukraine,” the center stressed.
The Center for Operations and Control urged not to succumb to manipulation, respond to air raid signals and trust only official sources.
Remind you that the Cherkasy OVA recommended that Hasidim refrain from visiting Uman, but said that they are taking steps to strengthen security measures.
We remind you that two days ago the Main Intelligence Directorate warned about new fakes in Russia. The Kremlin approved the themes for a new stage of the information war against Ukraine, which should discredit our state and influence its partners in the world.
