The Ukrainian military in the Tauride direction advances 50-200 meters per day, and in general, more than 255 sq. km of Ukrainian land has been liberated since the beginning of the offensive. This was said by the spokesman of the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Alexander Shtupun, in a telethon.
In particular, he asked if he could confirm information about the battles of the Ukrainian Defense Forces with the Russian invaders in the vicinity of Novoprokopovka in the direction of Melitopol.
“I won’t talk about the surrounding area yet, but as a result of the offensive operations, our soldiers had success in the last few days in the Robotinoy area of Zaporozhye, driving the enemy from their positions and getting a handle on the achieved lines. At this stage, we are moving along 50, 100, 200 meters per day. Sometimes it is kilometers, and sometimes there is no movement at all, because you have to get a foothold and protect the personnel from enemy opposition,” said Shtupun.
He emphasized that since the start of the offensive, Ukrainian soldiers in the Tauride direction have liberated more than 255 square kilometers of Ukrainian land.
