The Russian occupiers said that on the night of September 10, drones attacked the temporarily occupied Crimea. Eight drones were reportedly shot down by the Russian air defense. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
“Air defense systems shot down eight unmanned aerial vehicles in the Black Sea,” the statement said.
Russia has traditionally blamed Ukraine for drone attacks. In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that that night in the Black Sea, the invaders allegedly destroyed three high-speed boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which were moving towards the Crimean coast. The airborne groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also reportedly liquidated.
“This evening, in the western part of the Black Sea, northeast of Zmeiny Island, the naval aviation aircraft of the Black Sea Fleet destroyed three US-made high-speed military boats Willard Sea Force together with the landing groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, traveling in the direction of the Crimean coast,” said the message.
