It was attended by North Korean dictator Kim Jong-in along with his daughter Kim Ju E.
Uniformed paramilitary crews rode tractors and big red trucks. Kim watched the parade with his young daughter.
This is the third military parade in North totalitarian Korea in 2023. The previous one was attended by Russian Minister of War Sergei Shoigu.
This time the parade featured fighters of the Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Guard, columns of motorcycles and anti-tank missile launchers towed by tractors. At the same time, intercontinental ballistic missiles and other strategic weapons of the DPRK were obviously not demonstrated.
The parade on the day of the proclamation of the DPRK was again attended by Russian and Chinese delegations. In addition to diplomats from Russia, a Russian military song and dance ensemble was present at the event.
Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin sent Kim a greeting, calling for him to “expand bilateral ties in every sense.”
Earlier, Racurs reported that the DPRK is ready to conclude an agreement on the supply of weapons to Russia. The Financial Times writes that Pyongyang may offer Moscow ammunition, multiple launch rocket systems and short-range ballistic missiles. In return, Russia will repay with grain, oil, highly sensitive military technologies and currency. But the final conditions are not yet known.
